Re slicing and grinding thinning system

Each set of PetroThin ® The system is equipped with diamond cutting blades and diamond cup-shaped grinding wheels installed on a shaft. This eliminates the need to move the glass slide between each step, improving accuracy and parallelism. Two micrometers are used for precise control of re slicing and thinning.

Each system comes with a universal vacuum glass slide chuck. The built-in pump provides vacuum to ensure that the glass slide is placed in the correct position during the sample preparation process. Its fast release valve allows the operator to move the sample at any time. A novel series filter system eliminates any moisture in the vacuum tube during use. Whenever the vacuum pump is turned off, the filter bottle will automatically drain the water. The circulation system (optional) can be used for water sensitive materials, which require the use of light oil or ethylene glycol coolant.
